I'm Glad The Rapture didn't happen
Because I have a bucket list that I haven't gotten around to checking off.
Financial Accomplishments:
have 3 million dollars (I don't need to be ridiculously rich although that would be nice, I just want 3 mil. I think I would be Ok with that)
start my own company
write a book-memoir, fiction
be my own boss
Activities:
get masters
get PHD
see Machu Picchu
Travel:
backpack through europe (including but not limited to: san sebastian, prague, amsterdam, copenhagen, croatia, Berlin, Milan, Greece, Iceland), hawaii, brazil, cuba, africa (undecided where exactly), china, thailand, vietnam, cambodia, argentina, costa rica, india, san francisco, trans-siberian railroad
Things to Own:
soda maker
juicer
brownstone in Brooklyn
dishwasher/washer/dryer (this is such a NYC resident luxury)
Relationships:
get married
provide support to parents
have 2 kids
Health:
have abs
be toned
eat healthy
do yoga
Thinking about the rapture reminds me of when I was a preteen being super worried about dying a virgin and never experiencing sex. Is that normal that I worried about this when I was like 12? Have I always been a big perv?

Chanel vs. Dior eyeshadow
If I had to pick one, I would say Chanel is the superior of the two.
Dior shadow is great because it is a creamy powder that goes on easily. Chanel requires more layering when applying. If you want a smokey eye though, Chanel never smudges or falls off the lid avoiding that raccoon eye look.
I love the Chanel Enigma quad.

Aging
It's weird in your late 20's when you notice lines on your face. Lucky for me Asians age really well however unlucky for me I have a habit of drinking and smoking which is quite possibly the worst thing for your skin. So I try in vain to offset years of bad habits with a very strict skin regimen.
My nightly routine consist of:
Makeup remover: Pond's Cold Cream
The old classic. Asian girls wear a ton of eye makeup to try to appear to have eyes, preferably anime eyes. I have tried a million different eye makeup removers (astringent types are the worst, so drying. makeup removing clothes usually require me to use 4 a night to take off all my eyeliner, mascara, heavy shadows). There is a reason why Pond's has been around forever, it comes off quickly, it moisturizes while removing makeup, my eyes feel so silky after.
Face Wash: St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control. I am a creature of habit and I have been using this on and off since I was 15.
Night Cream: Dior Hydralife Cream
Eye Cream: DHC Q10 Eye Cream (Japanese brand I picked up in Korea that I am hooked on)
Wrinkle Serum for my smile lines: Neutrogena Ageless Intensives. This product sucks, Peter bought it when I pointed out his forehead lines. Never trust a man to do a woman's job. Someone recommend me a good wrinkle cream.
Twice a week mask: Bliss Triple Oxygenating Mask
Wakes up your skin when it looks tired and sallow, also smells yummy. I am a sucker for orange scented products.
and finally I take 1 fish oil pill a day. If you isn't on fish oil pills, you're gonna look terrible in a few years. Just sayin.
Although when I start having money again, I want to get the whole line of SK II products and see what all the hoopla is about.

Fan Bing Bing
I am a fan of this Chinese actress named Fan Bing Bing. As much as Korean actresses are the shit, this chinese chick knows how to bring her fashion A-game, in a way I've never seen a Korean actress do (Korean actresses always want to look safe and pretty, rarely are they fierce which is a representation of Korean women in general).

I know most liberals were against the war in Iraq but I was the rare liberal who supported it. True, we invaded under the guise of finding WMDs which was whack because surprise! there weren't any. But I always thought we should take him out especially after what he did to the Kurds in 1988 (which I didn't really learn about until my class on the Middle East, because um I was 4 when it actually happened).
The article provides interesting cultural insights on potential reasons for why he was such an asshole. Def worth a read if you are interesting in this sort of thing.
